January, 2026: Weekly Atri Dzogchen Teaching and Practice

Weekly Atri Dzogchen Teaching and Practice

With Chaphur Rinpoche

Mondays from 7 am to 7:45 am (Pacific Time)

As many of you know, Chaphur Rinpoche has taught us  Dru Gyalwa’s Dzogchen practice manual (Chaktrid), instruction on the Dzogchen preliminaries  and actual practices, for about two years. Rinpoche has also given us the empowerment for these powerful practices.

This month Rinpoche will be teaching Dru Gyalwa’s Atri Dzogchen. The Atri Dzogchen is one of the most  important spiritual traditions of Bön. It  guides the practitioner through fifteen step-by-step sessions to stabilize the realization of awakened awareness of primordial wisdom.

This is a rare opportunity for you to receive these authentic, precious, Yungdrung Bön teachings. Each week the instruction is approximately 30 minutes followed by a short meditation practice session based on what is covered in the text.

This program is also an excellent opportunity for Tibetan language students to practice by directly analyzing the text in its original language format.  The handouts are written in Tibetan but Rinpoche translates  as he teaches.

Teachings are held on Zoom every Monday from 7 am to 7:45 am (PT). Recordings are available the same day in Gyalshen’s  Dropbox.  If you become a monthly subscriber, past teachings are also available.  We will send out monthly subscription emails if you want to renew one month at a time.  Or,  you can renew automatically by choosing the  ongoing monthly option.

See you soon online!
